Great Barrier Island 14-21 May
12 of us ventured to a new location. We based ourselves in Tryphena Bay. Places visited were: Windy Canyon, Mt Hobson, Mt Heale Hut, Kaitoke hot springs, Whangaparapara - old timber mill site, Okiwi-Harataonga coastal walkway, SS Wairarapa gravesites, Kaiaraara Hut through Line W track, deviating down to see Bush Beach, Port Fitzroy local walking tracks, White Cliffs (Te Ahumata), Kowhai Valley loop to Medlands Beach.
