Top Maropea Hut 20-21 July
A wonderful snowy trip in the Ruahines. Saturday - Up to Sunrise Hut. Then up onto the main range to the junction of the track to Top Maropea Hut. About here we knew traversing Te Atuaoparapara to Waikamaka Hut before dark wasn't going to be achievable. So along to Top Maropea Hut. Sunday - Back the same way.
